In most cases, yes - but it depends on the condition of the surface. We always do a moisture test and surface assessment before recommending an approach. Loose or flaking coatings must be removed first. We never cut corners on prep, which is why our floors last.

How do I clean and maintain an epoxy floor?

Epoxy floors are extremely easy to maintain. Regular sweeping and occasional mopping with a microfiber mop and mild cleaner is all it takes. Avoid harsh acidic cleaners. The non-porous surface resists stains, so spills wipe up instantly.

What is the difference between epoxy and polyaspartic floors?

Epoxy is a two-part resin system with a slower cure time and exceptional adhesion. Polyaspartic is a faster-curing topcoat that is UV-stable and more flexible. We typically use both together: epoxy as the base coat for adhesion and strength, polyaspartic as the topcoat for UV resistance and durability.

Do I need to be home during the installation?

For residential garage floors, you do not need to be present for the entire job, but we do require access to the space. For commercial installs, a point of contact should be available. Most residential jobs are completed in one day.

Can my existing countertop be coated?

It depends on the substrate, condition, adhesion and intended use. Share photos and approximate dimensions, then arrange an assessment. Damaged or unsuitable substrates may need repair or a different solution.

Can I put hot pans directly on epoxy?

Use trivets and cutting boards. Heat, stain and scratch resistance depend on the exact cured system; no coating is promised to be heat-proof, scratch-proof or stain-proof. Review product-specific care instructions.

How much does a countertop cost?

What do floor coatings start at?

How long does installation and curing take?

Most residential projects take 1–2 installation days. Typical light foot traffic is about 24 hours after the final coat; vehicle traffic is about 48 hours after the final coat. Product, temperature, weather and slab conditions can change this schedule. Follow the return-to-use instructions supplied for your project.

Which warranty applies?
