Professionally installed systems with diamond-grind prep and a UV-stable polyaspartic topcoat commonly last 10–20 years under normal residential use. Florida heat, humidity, UV, and hot tires are the main stressors — which is why prep and topcoat quality matter more than cheap DIY kits. Workmanship warranties are 1, 3, or 5 years by package.
Our standard residential and most commercial systems use a UV-stable polyaspartic topcoat over epoxy (or hybrid) base coats. Polyaspartic is chosen for Florida UV stability, faster return-to-service, and hot-tire performance. We do not market thin DIY “paint epoxy” as a long-term garage system.
Hot-tire pickup is common with thin DIY coatings and poor prep. A1 diamond-grinds the slab, uses proper base coats, and finishes with polyaspartic topcoats specified for Florida garages so daily parking is the point — not a risk.
We install commercial-grade, non-porous systems suitable for food-handling facilities when the product stack is specified for that use. Product TDS/SDS for the exact primer, coating, and topcoat are provided on request for restaurants, kitchens, and regulated spaces. We avoid blanket “FDA approved epoxy” marketing — suitability is system- and use-case specific.
