Good news: when you hire a pro crew, your part of the job is small. Here’s exactly what our Orlando customers do before installation day — and what to expect while we work.
Before the crew arrives
- Empty the floor. Everything on the slab needs to come out — vehicles, shelving contents, bikes, boxes. Wall-mounted storage can stay.
- Plan for parking. Your cars will live in the driveway for about 3 days (1–2 install days + cure time).
- Note problem spots. Point out cracks, old oil stains, or spots where previous coatings peeled — we’ll address them during prep.
- Pets and kids. The garage will be off-limits during application; plan door access accordingly.
What we handle (so you don’t)
Diamond grinding and dust-controlled prep, crack and spall repair, moisture testing, masking and edge protection, and all cleanup. Most residential garages are completed in 1–2 days.
After installation
- 24 hours: light foot traffic is fine.
- 72 hours: vehicles and heavy items can come back.
- Avoid dragging sharp metal directly across the floor for the first week while the topcoat reaches full hardness.
